HSOC Hiring an Environmental Historian

Assistant Professor, Environmental History

Georgia Institute of Technology.  The School of History and Sociology (HSOC) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor of history beginning fall 2017.  Primary area of expertise should be in the history of the environment.  The successful candidate should be in a position to teach undergraduate courses in the History, Technology, and Society program and contribute to our graduate program in History and Sociology of Technology and Science.  A strong research record and excellence in teaching are prerequisites.  PhD in history required.
