The School of History and Sociology welcomes Camille Zubrinsky Charles, Walter H. and Leonore C. Annenberg Professor in the Social Sciences and professor of sociology, Africana studies & education at the University of Pennsylvania, on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. Charles will speak on the topic “Young, Gifted, and Diverse: Black Diversity at Selective Institutions of Higher Education” followed by a Q&A session. Anyone in the Georgia Tech community having an interest in the topics of educational policy, minorities in higher education, urban inequality, and Black racial identity is encouraged to attend.
