The School of History and Sociology welcomes Justin Castro, professor of history at Arkansas State University, on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022. Castro will speak on the topic “Mining, Sugar, and Textiles: A Reexamination of Sociotechnological and Environmental Transformation in Colonial Latin America” followed by a Q&A session.  Anyone in the Georgia Tech community having an interest in the topics of the history of technology, environmental history, and Latin American history is encouraged to attend.
