Where sports fans become journalists — and journalists get newsroom-ready.

If you live and breathe sport and are serious about telling stories that inform, challenge, and engage audiences, this intensive one-week Sports Journalism Bootcamp is designed for you.

Delivered by CNN Academy in collaboration with Georgia Tech’s Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, this immersive programm is built for students with a strong interest in journalism, reporting, and sports media. This one-of-a-kind program will allow you to attend masterclasses, workshop with industry professionals, learn how to use mobile reporting software, and participate in a fast-paced, real-world sports journalism simulation. Parking, lunches, program merch, CNN Academy completion micro credentials, and all applicable bootcamp fees are included. The new format also provides more flexibility for students looking to complete internships, take classes, and/or study abroad this summer.

The cost for Georgia Tech students to attend the full week is $200. Registration is open now through April 17. Reach out to CNNAcademy@gatech.edu with any questions or concerns.
