Elise Li Zheng, a PhD student in the School of History and Sociology, recently published "Interpreting fitness: self-tracking with fitness apps through a postphenomenology lens," in AI & Society.
Zheng's research looks at how the design and interactive experience of self-tracking fitness apps shape user thoughts and habits about fitness, personal achievement, and a "healthy life."
