Steven Usselman, the new H. Bruce McEver Professor of Engineering and the Liberal Arts, is assembling an advisory group from Georgia Tech’s engineering programs and working to expand his engineering in history course to be more accessible to many more students. Eventually he wants to develop a minor in engineering and the liberal arts.

McDonald Receives Service Award from North American Society for the Sociology of Sport

Mary G. McDonald has received the Service Excellence Award from the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS). The award recognizes McDonald for service throughout her career to the association, as well the field of the sociology of sport. It was presented during the association’s annual conference in Vancouver this November.
