2025 Global Media Festival Film Screening: "Soyalism" + Live Q&A

Join the School of Modern Languages for an engaging event featuring a thought-provoking documentary Soyalism, which explores the global impact of industrial food production. The film follows the industrial production chain of pork and the related soybean monoculture, from China to Brazil through the United States and Mozambique.

Enjoy delicious Chinese food while watching the film and stay for a virtual conversation with the two directors, Stefano Liberti and Enrico Parenti, immediately following the screening. Registration requested.
 
The Global Media Festival is Georgia Tech’s annual film and discussion series focusing on sustainability and the UN SDGs across languages and cultures. The 2025 festival explores themes around a variety of the UN sustainable development goals and is proud to be part of Ivan Allen College's Year of Liberal Arts, a year-long series of events exploring the powerful intersection of humanities and STEM, transforming the future of education and research.
